Just when I thought I couldn’t like this song anymore… along comes the official When I Grow Up remix ft. Eve. The original was awesome. The video version with the breakdown. Now much love for the remix. Now, if only someone could ahead and combine the video version with the remix, so I can have the rap and the breakdown, I’d be golden! Till then, check the comments if you wanna hear the remix

“Jessica Simpson has christened her debut country album “Do You Know” and will release it Sept. 9 via Columbia Nashville. First single “Come on Over” rises 26-23 this week on Billboard’s Hot Country songs chart.
There are several other potential winners on the album, particularly the slow-burning “Might As Well Be Making Love,” which has shades of Faith Hill’s powerful belting, and the autobiographical “Pray Out Loud,” which nods to the rootsy charm of the Dixie Chicks.
Elsewhere, Simpson offers comfort to a victim of domestic abuse on “Remember That” and sings with Dolly Parton on the title track, which Parton penned. “I look in the mirror and I know I’m doing the right thing with my career and my life,” Simpson told Billboard recently. “It’s a great place of comfort.”
The album was produced by Brett James and John Shanks, with songwriting contributions coming from Rachel Proctor, Victoria Banks, Troy Verges and Hillary Lindsey, among others.
Beyond a slew of morning and late-night talk show performances in the coming weeks, Simpson is making the rounds at U.S. country festivals. Next up is the Indiana State Fair in Indianapolis on Aug. 7.
In addition, Simpson will in August launch a new fragrance, “Fancy,” to complement her existing fashion line of shoes, outerwear and lingerie.”
I’m not sure what Jess wants us to know, but I think the more important issue is that neither Jess, creepy Papa Joe, nor the writer of this article know that no one else cares. Also, the comparison to Faith Hill is incredibly unfair to Faith. We’ll forgive Dolly for collaborating with Jess, but only because all the hair dye, make up, and plastic surgery has to have taken some sort of mental toll on her. But really, her people should be making better decisions for her. Lastly, the only domestic abuse occurring that involves Simpson is going to be anyone sorry enough to play this cd in their house.

My friend Kristin kissed a girl, who was sans her cherry chapstick that night, and she didn’t like it. Now, whether or not the lack of lip balm had anything to do with the lack of enjoyment in the kissing, I can’t say for sure. But I’m sure it didn’t help her case. So, a notice to all the girls who like kissing girls… you may want to stock up

Apparently Girlicious is going to be the opening act for the North American leg of the Backstreet Boys Unbreakable tour. Lemme just say how less than enthused I am about this. I suppose it’s a good move on the girls’ part, hopefully it’ll help to get them some recognition. I love these bitches and their Stupid Shit… but, it’s time to face facts and admit that the Backstreet Boys are no longer boys and I’d really appreciate it if they’d stfu already.

I’ll be the first to admit I’m not always one for musicals (still haven’t seen Hairspray, and Rent was a total FAIL!), but every so often one comes along that I’m excited for. *sigh* And then the disappointment sets in. I loved Meryl Streep, it was clear she had a blast making the movie, and Amanda Seyfried was a pleasant surprise… but really, instead of making crap like this… maybe she should stick to asking people why they’re white. That’s all.

As confirmed on Saturday, Shannen Doherty will be reprising her role as Brenda Walsh on the CW’s new 90210. I couldn’t be less excited about a stupid new spin-0ff, but as a fan of Doherty… and behind-the-scenes drama and cat-fights… this could be fun. SD was written off the original show basically because she was a bitch, and people didn’t like her, and it was said that her character was studying Drama in London. Well, thank god for that lame excuse seeing as how she’ll now be playing the Director of the high school musical. Producers say that her story will be a “multi-episode arc”, as will the other returning cast members’ roles. Hopefully things will go awry, so stay tuned…

After having seen The Dark Knight, and how uh.maze.ing Heath Ledger’s performance, I felt inspired to give in and make my own pic. Granted, I didn’t anticipate ACTUALLY taking it so serious, and never being satisfied with my results. So here’s the best I could do, and I still find it to suck.
